Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
When you use AltWrightr, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account and authorization data: Webflow user identifiers, OAuth access tokens, authorized site IDs, and session tokens created after you connect the app.
- Site content metadata: Asset names, image URLs, CMS collection and item identifiers, field names, and alt text values needed to scan and update your Webflow content.
- Usage data: Scan requests, fix actions, timestamps, and basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and error reports.
- Support communications: Information you provide when contacting us, including your name, email address, and message content.
2. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate you with Webflow and maintain authorized sessions
- Scan your authorized Webflow sites for missing or inadequate alt text
- Generate alt text suggestions when AI features are enabled
- Apply approved alt text updates to Assets, CMS fields, and Rich Text content
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations
3. AI processing
If AI suggestions are enabled, limited image metadata (such as file name, page or item context, and field information) may be sent to a third-party AI provider to generate suggested alt text. We do not use your content to train public models on your behalf unless explicitly disclosed by the provider and permitted by your configuration.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only with:
- Webflow: to authenticate, read site data, and write approved alt text updates through the Webflow API
- Service providers: such as hosting, logging, tunneling, or AI infrastructure providers that help us operate the app
- Legal authorities: when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public
5. Data retention
Authorization tokens and session data are retained only as long as needed to provide the service or until you revoke access. Local development databases may be cleared when the server stops. Production retention periods should be configured according to your deployment environment and documented support practices.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as OAuth, scoped API permissions, HTTPS transport, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
- Withdraw Webflow authorization at any time through your Webflow account or app settings
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Request a copy of your data or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
8. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
9. Children
AltWrightr is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
